In reply to your question related to “the table of the year 2019”, I would like to recall that every year, by 31st of March, INEA receives an Annual Status Report (ASR) from each CEF funded Actions which informs, inter alia, on the technical progress of the co-funded activities at 31st December of the previous year.
For any CEF Action that ended in 2019 and for which an extension of the end date is under preparation, the ASR for the year 2019 will be submitted following the adoption of the Amendment. This rule applies also to Action 2014-EU-TM-0401-M. Therefore, the table you requested with the technical progress of the Action at 31/12/2019 is not yet available.
I would also like to clarify that the decision to extend the Action duration is not solely based on the technical progress of the Action. A number of other elements are taken into account, including the feasibility to reach the Action’s objectives by the extended end date.
In reply to your question regarding the amount paid of the EU grant, I would like to confirm that to date (meaning the date of this email), INEA paid to the Italian Ministry of Transport (coordinator) for CEF Action 2014-EU-TM-0401-M EUR 210,058,846.89. EU funds do not cover the entirety of costs incurred, but 40% or 50% of costs incurred depending on the type of activity.

In risposta alla sua domanda relativa alla “tabella dell’anno 2019″, vorrei ricordare che ogni anno, entro il 31 marzo, INEA riceve per ogni Azione finanziata dal CEF un Rapporto annuale sullo stato di avanzamento (ASR) che informa, tra l’altro, sull’andamento tecnico delle attività cofinanziate al 31 dicembre dell’anno precedente.
Per ogni Azione CEF che si è conclusa nel 2019 e per la quale è in corso di preparazione una proroga della data di conclusione, il RAS per l’anno 2019 sarà presentato a seguito dell’adozione dell’Emendamento. Questa regola si applica anche all’Azione 2014-EU-TM-0401-M. Pertanto, la tabella da voi richiesta con l’avanzamento tecnico dell’Azione al 31/12/2019 non è ancora disponibile.
Vorrei anche chiarire che la decisione di estendere la durata dell’Azione non si basa esclusivamente sul progresso tecnico dell’Azione. Si tiene conto di una serie di altri elementi, tra cui la possibilità di raggiungere gli obiettivi dell’Azione entro la data di scadenza prorogata.
In risposta alla sua domanda relativa all’importo della sovvenzione UE, vorrei confermare che ad oggi (intendendo la data di questa e-mail), INEA ha versato al Ministero dei Trasporti italiano (coordinatore) per l’Azione CEF 2014-EU-TM-0401-M 210.058.846,89 euro. I fondi UE non coprono la totalità dei costi sostenuti, ma il 40% o il 50% dei costi sostenuti a seconda del tipo di attività.
